The "group" went on to play such historic engagements as the Satellite Lounge, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Ronald McDonald House, Avondale House, Camp for All, and the Houston Yacht Club.  In 1999, the group was asked to play at one of Governor Bush's Inaugural Balls in Austin (1999).  In 2001, MLC performed for President Bush at "The Black Tie and Boots" Presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C.  The band was invited back to the BT&B ball in January 2005, and again performed for the newly elected President.  The band has opened for popular acts including Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, La Mafia, and The Temptations, and has played most major venues in the Houston area including Verizon Theatre, The Hobby Center, The Wortham Center, and most of the major Ball Rooms, Country Clubs, Yacht Clubs, and Hotels in the Houston Metroplex area.

    Today, the Mid-Life Crisis and The Hot Flashes have settled almost every lawsuit brought against them, and the continue to be one of the most sought-after bands in Houston.  They were listed as one of Houston's four top bands by "Harper's Bazaar" (11/98 Issue).

The Players:

Lead Singer Wade Kilpatrick is an attorney, and CEO of LSI Interests, an Oil and Gas Distribution Company.  Wade played sax and sang with a '60s high school band, "The Kings Five", but was dead in the water musically until 2000, when he began singing guest spots at the Ma Crosby's Bar in Cuidad Acuna, Mexico.

Drummer Rob Mosbacher, runs Mosbacher Energy Co., promised his family never to practice at home again.

Rhythm Guitarist Bart Bentley, an attorney with Fizer, Beck, Webster, Bentley, & Scroggins, turned down an offer to replace Jerry Garcia in the Grateful Dead.

Keyboardist Bobby Markoff, a local dentist, fixes teeth to support his keyboard habit.

Trumpeter Joe Ellis, a cosmetic dentist in League City, keeps all the smiles pretty.

Lead/Rhythm Guitarist David Wadler, an orthodontist, keeps the band wired and straight.

Bassist Jeff Jackson, a Neurologist and owner of Sugar Land Neurology in Sugar Land, joined the band in 1998, and has kept everyone neurologically intact since then.  He is also a member of "Double Vision" (70's - 90's Music).

Saxophonist Joe Trombatore, an insurance agent, and former member of Roy Head & The Traits, bails out the group when they get into trouble.

The Hot Flashes, Sallie Ann Hart & Yolanda Marsden, bring smooth harmony to the sound when they are not having "hot flashes"!
